Pick-up from your hotel in Chiang Mai at 8:00 AM. We begin the day with a visit to a local fresh market where you will see local ingredients and prepare fresh produce for our cooking experience.
After that, we drive to a local village where you will be fitted with a personal bicycle before starting our countryside cycling tour. Enjoy cycling through peaceful local villages, native fruit farms, green rice paddies (during the rainy season or depending on the season), and local Buddhist temples. Along the route, we will stop at some points for short breaks and refreshments. The cycling tour takes approximately 1–2 hours round trip.
After cycling, we will cook and enjoy authentic Thai food together for lunch in a local home. Some of the dishes we may prepare include:
* Tom Kha Gai (Chicken in Coconut Milk Soup)
* Larb Moo Kua or Larb Gai (Northern Style Spicy Pork or Chicken Salad)
* Thai Papaya Salad
* Stir-fried Seasonal Vegetables
After lunch, you will have some free time to relax and enjoy the peaceful local atmosphere.
Then, we drive approximately 15 minutes to Mae Kuang Dam, where we take a scenic boat ride for around 30 minutes across the reservoir.
Next, we continue to Bua Tong Sticky Waterfall, where you can enjoy climbing up and down the limestone waterfall and relaxing in the natural surroundings and returning to Chiang Mai in the late afternoon,
